If you can’t say with 100% certainty yes, the answer is no.
Regret is the worst thing in the world. Can you say with 100% certainty that you did everything possible to succeed, if not, you’re going to have regret. It may not be today or tomorrow but the day will come. Which is why you should give 100% or 0% to everything you do. EVERYTHING in life. Do it or don’t. Average and mediocre sucks and we all know it, maybe you don’t verbalize it but deep down you know it. Do you want an average doctor operating on you? No? Then why settle for average in anything else?
I can guarantee you the reason anyone doesn’t succeed at anything is because they didn’t devote the proper amount of effort to the endeavor that was required to succeed. Can you name one thing that you poured your heart into that you failed at?
Are you going to tell a child they are being too serious about their math test? About getting into college? About their dreams of what they want to be when they grow up? No? So why is it when we become adults it’s time to stop dreaming? Why is it that we tell people not to be too ambitious? Why is it that we don’t give adults the same encouragement we give a five year-old when they tell us they want to be an astronaut?
You can achieve damn near anything you set your mind to, stop selling yourself short and settling on average.
We just finished our 3rd week of our 2018 Spring Break Challenge Transformation Contest. I have three couples that are at a combined weight loss of 15-20 lbs and as a group we have lost a total of 345 pounds. Nice work everyone, lets finish strong! Remember the last day to weigh-in is Thursday March 8th!
Have a great week,
Jamie
