Our Process
- Talk with Your TrainerAt Plunkett Fitness, you will complete a fitness assessment and share your personal goals with your trainer before you ever touch a barbell. During this assessment, we will do a body fat test and discuss your health and exercise history. We want to figure out your fitness and nutrition habits before we get down to business. Each assessment takes about an hour, and after the assessment, we will create a custom workout and nutrition plan that is created specifically for you.
- Your First WorkoutWith us, your workout will start with self-myofascial release and a dynamic warm-up. We will then focus on strength training tailored to your needs and goals. With each visit, we will work on proper technique and form, as well as progression. We want you to grow constantly, so we will add either reps or additional weight to your strength training exercises with every visit.
- Tailored WorkoutsYour workout likely won’t be the same as the other clients in the gym. That’s because your body isn’t going to be the same as our other clients, and you need a workout that will work for YOU.
