Getting Started

At Plunkett Fitness, you will complete a fitness assessment and share your personal goals with your trainer before you ever touch a barbell. During this assessment, we will do a body fat test and discuss your health and exercise history. We want to figure out your fitness and nutrition habits before we get down to business. Each assessment takes about an hour. After the assessment, we will create a custom workout and nutrition plan that is specifically created for you.

With us, your workout will start with self-myofascial release and a dynamic warm-up. Then, we will focus on strength training tailored to your needs and goals. With each visit, we will work on proper technique and form and progression. We want you to grow constantly, so we will add reps or weight with every visit.

Your workout likely won’t be the same as the other clients in the gym. That’s because your body isn’t going to be the same as our other clients. With personalized workouts, you are more likely to get the results that you are looking for faster.
